UK Independent Restaurant for Vegetarian Food |
Joint winners Traditionally, the North
is often seen as offering poor choice for vegetarians, so we’re delighted to see that it now boasts
two of the best veggie restaurants in the UK. Congratulations to
both Dandelion & Burdock and The Waiting Room for helping to
break the mould.

The
observant among you may have noticed that the look of the
awards changed this year. Usually the awards have been made of
glass but this year we decided on a new design – here it
is - it’s made of recycled plastic bottles.
