Eating out

Provision for vegetarians in restaurants, cafes, pubs, take-aways and hotels has grown enormously in both quality and quantity in recent years. However, there is still no guarantee that the first establishment you walk into will really know their shiitakes from their gelatine, isinglass and animal rennet, so it can be worth doing a little bit of research before you set out.
