Vegsoc Approved products range from those created exclusively for the vegetarian market to the everyday essentials that will happily grace any shopping basket in the country. The Best Vegsoc Approved Non Food Product award really shows the range of products available and the winner is ACDO PRO Washing Powder.

Vanessa Brown, Head of Corporate Relations for the Vegetarian Society said, “Congratulations to ACDO PRO Washing Powder, not only does it clean clothes well, it’s always been vegetarian. A well loved, trusted and favourite washing powder.”

The other nominees shortlisted in this category were: Izzy Lane Ethical Clothing, Astonish range of cleaning products, Vita Mix Blender, Oraldent Oralclens Toothpaste.

The Vegetarian Society Awards 2009 winners were announced last night at the Magic Circle Headquarters in London. The evening was hosted by Wendy Turner Webster, broadcaster and author, and patron of the Vegetarian Society.

This is the Vegetarian Society Awards’ ninth year and guests came from across the UK to celebrate the very best in vegetarian food, catering, and lifestyle, highlighting to the nation those companies and services which make life better for vegetarians in the UK.
