The No Catch Co.

Site name: The No Catch Co.

127a Kings Rd, Brighton and Hove, Brighton BN1 2FA

We’re an ethical vegan company taking on the traditional model of a British fish and chip shop. As many as 2.3 trillion fish are pulled from the ocean and killed every single year for food. But as well as being a moral issue, the fishing industry is devastating for the environment as well.
The fishing method of bottom trawling alone produces more greenhouse gas emissions than the entire aviation industry and the destabilisation of fish populations affects the entire planet. We’re running out of time.
We believe that enough is enough, and that it’s time for a revolution within the seafood industry.

Absolutely amazing vegan fish & chip shop

“Absolutely amazing vegan fish & chip shop. The haddock has the right amount of fishy taste without being an overpowering flavour and oh my the crispiest of batters – perfect to dip in the tasty mushy peas and curry sauce. The chips also had a great crunch and were lovely chunky chips. Cooked perfectly. Also had the vegan Calamari which was great to try as is rare to find a vegan version. Everything was so delicious. Service spot on and friendly advice on the options. Looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommended 🙏💚🙏”

A fantastic meal, a vegan delight!

“My goodness, what a vegan find on the seafront in Brighton. The restaurant is an absolute must if you miss fish and chips but respect the planet. The range was plentiful, cooked fresh and absolutely delicious. The server was polite and friendly, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you.”
