It's Food Festival Time!
Our cookery school team love making super, tasty plant-based and vegetarian dishes at food festivals across the UK.
The great thing is they get to meet so many members of the public, demonstrate delicious recipes and usually get to share tasters with the audience too.

On Friday 31st May Nikita will be delivering a cookery demonstration. Nikita’s passion for cooking began in childhood, with dreams of one day going on the TV show Ready, Steady, Cook. She said teaching at the Vegetarian Society Cookery School is the closest thing to that dream! Having always worked in hospitality, Nikita did her training at catering college. She has particular interest for Asian cookery and world cuisine.

Across the summer we will be popping up at various locations for the Great British Food Festival:
Hardwick Hall, Derbyshire – 31st May
Wentworth Woodhouse, Rotherham x2 demos each day 17th and 18th August
Arley Hall, Cheshire – 21st and 22nd September x2 demos a day

South Manchester Food Festival
Nikita had a busy cookery demonstration cooking up baba ganoush and aubergine shawarma bourekas.
Northern Vegan Festival
Maz and Kairu cooked up a storm at the Northern Vegan Festival in April. On the menu were delicious vegan ‘fish’ cakes and the best tofu Bánh Mí. Plus the crowd were treated to a demo of the best gato piments this side of Mauritius. Thanks to everyone who came along.
