A Plant-Based Cookery Class Inspired by Global Street Food

Join Maz, our resident bona fide street food trader, and learn how to bring the buzz of the world’s street food stalls into your kitchen!
We’ll explore bold spices, sizzling techniques, and creative twists on classic street food favourites from around the globe. In this fun and interactive session, you’ll learn how to make delicious vegan street food dishes inspired by Korea, East Africa, and the Americas. This class is perfect for food lovers looking to expand their plant-based cooking skills. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned home cook, you’ll leave with new techniques, exciting recipes, and a taste of the world’s best street food.

Recipes you are likely to make include:

Smokey Sloppy Jack Sliders
A fun, plant-based spin on the classic American Sloppy Joe. Pulled jackfruit cooked in homemade chipotle sauce, topped with instant pickled red onion, herbs and garlic mayo.

Korean Sharing Plate
Kimchi pancakes, tofu bulgogi, Korean fried cauliflower in gochujang glaze, sesame soy dip, and spicy cucumber salad.

Cardamom Mandazi with Mango Coconut Cream Dip
A soft, fried doughnut – a popular breakfast on the go from street food traders in East Africa.

You’ll be able to make the recipes you learn on this class at home, time and time again. After your cookery experience, you will be emailed a pack for you to keep containing all of the recipes you learned on the day.
