This year, we crowned Yarlton Sleights, a Manchego-style buffalo’s milk cheese crafted by The Creamery at The Newt in Somerset, the winner of the Vegetarian Class at the Artisan Cheese Awards 2026. With its distinctive buttery texture and deliciously full flavour, it is the perfect addition to any cheeseboard, or it is equally delicious grated over pasta or aubergine parmigiana with its lactic tang bringing depth to rich sauces.
