Here are some of the great things we do
-
Providing free cookery classes for community groups
The Vegetarian Society Cookery School provides free cookery classes for community groups so no one misses out on a chance to cook delicious veggie food. We work with Sahara Women’s Aid project based in Manchester which helps women who are living with, or fleeing, domestic abuse.
-
Inspiring young people
We work with hundreds of schools up and down the country to help provide vegetarian school lunches. These children now have more choice and are learning about the positive impact they can have on the world, through their food choices.

Encouraging more people to eat more plant-based food
National Vegetarian Week encourages people to eat more plant based food. We encouraged people to do 50 veggie things in May to help people make greener choices. Celebrities like Stephen Fry and Joanna Lumley supported the week.
