Do you have a mini chef in your home?
Get stuck into cooking during the school holidays! Our Children’s Cookery Adventure is here to get taste buds tingling and minds a-whizzing as we whip up some amazing treats together.
Taught by our expert tutors, the class is suitable for children (aged 6-14 years) who want to learn how to make tasty food and have a giggle too! Discover how to follow a recipe, make tasty meals from scratch, and experiment with brand new flavours, all while having loads of fun.
This action-packed day teaches kids how to make delicious recipes like pizza, vegetable noodles and banana and chocolate muffins. They’ll enjoy food-themed activities throughout the day too, including a mini foraging walk in the grounds of the Vegetarian Society Cookery School – so, don’t forget to pack those wellies!
Our professional team is DBS-checked so you can head off into Manchester for a coffee and enjoy your day while your kids are in safe hands.

We welcome students of all abilities, so whatever your current skill level, you’ll fit right in. And you don’t have to be veggie to enjoy our courses – everyone’s welcome! Our cookery experiences will help you hone your cooking skills in a fun and friendly atmosphere. You’ll dive right in with hands-on practical cookery sessions, under the expert guidance of our experienced tutors, who will share their wealth of knowledge with you. Attendee numbers are kept small so you’ll have maximum contact with the tutors – and there will be plenty of opportunities throughout the day to ask any questions you may have.
