New Plant-Based Flapjack Launched Ahead of the London Marathon
A plant-based showcase drew crowds at Manchester Arndale this weekend as Flora unveiled a new collaboration celebrating taste, accessibility and trusted certification.
The event, titled “Flora: The Start of Something Better,” highlighted the brand’s latest creation: an Oat & Banana Soft Flapjack developed in a collaboration with Tilly Ramsay and made by The Handmade Cake Company. The flapjack carries official Vegetarian Society Plant-Based Approved certification, reinforcing its plant-based credentials.

Visitors to the activation were invited to sample the flapjack on the day, with many also taking home the recipe – extending the experience beyond the event and into their own kitchens.
The combination of recognisable ingredients, accessible recipes and clear labelling aims to make plant-based eating more approachable for a wider audience. The flapjacks are a great source of energy which Tilly will be needing for her London Marathon run.
Following its successful stop in Manchester, the campaign is set to continue its momentum in cities across the UK before heading to the London Marathon on Sunday 26th April.
The Vegetarian Society is proud to certify the flapjack as plant-based, find out more about product certification here.
