Can you help people who need food this April? We are raising £15,000 to send out meals to people using housing associations and food banks nationally. More people are struggling to feed themselves and their families due to COVID-19. The Vegetarian Society is helping to tackle this problem by sending out veggie food boxes. The boxes have the ingredients and recipes for two dishes – a bean chilli and a green lentil and tomato ragu, which will make enough food for eight meals. Your donation buys the ingredients and sends the boxes to food banks and housing associations in areas where the need is greatest – getting meals onto people’s tables.

What's in the box?
Our food boxes have the ingredients and recipes for two dishes – a bean chilli and a green lentil and tomato ragu, which will make enough food for eight meals in total. The recipes in the boxes, created by the experts from our cookery school, are nourishing, filling, cost effective and vegan. Not only do our boxes give people hearty meals, they also introduce them to cheaper, nutritious recipes that you can make again and again.
