Chop Like a Chef
Chop Like a Chef
You don’t have to go to culinary school to learn how to slice and dice like a pro. We’ll sharpen up your knife skills and teach you to chop like a chef.
This hands-on class is designed for both beginners and seasoned home cooks who want to master the art of using knives safely and efficiently. Learn the essential techniques to chop, slice, dice, and julienne like a professional chef.
Your tutor Maz will take you on a razor-sharp journey, sharing her years of experience as a professional chef and teacher.
We will provide everything you need to hone your skills, including knives and equipment. If you do have a loved set of knives you would like to bring, please let us know when you book.
At the end of the class, you will have a selection of ingredients to take away and cook using a COOK! plant-based recipe.
What you’ll learn:
Knife Safety: Understand the importance of knife safety and learn best practices to prevent accidents.
Knife Types and Uses: Get to know different types of knives and their specific uses in the kitchen.
Basic Cuts: Conquer basic cutting techniques such as chopping, slicing, dicing, and mincing.
Advanced Techniques: Explore more advanced cuts like julienne, chiffonade, and brunoise.
