Full time: 35 hours per week (maternity cover)
Part time: 14 hours per week
Salary: £18,065 – £19,171 (pro rata) SCP 3 to 6
We are looking for two admin officers to join our friendly, busy team. One is a full time position to act as maternity cover for 9 to 12 months. The other is a part time position for 14 hours per week.
Reporting to the Head of Admin, the person in this role will influence, inspire and support people to embrace and maintain a vegetarian lifestyle. You will need to be able to demonstrate how you uphold our vegetarian values in your personal life.
Main duties include providing excellent customer service, dealing with enquiries via phone, email and in person as well as supporting all areas of the charity with a wide range of admin and facilities tasks.
Our physical offices are closed at the moment because of COVID-19 so the positon currently involves working from home. When the office re-opens the role will be based in our headquarters which is located, within close proximity to Altrincham. So the ability to be able to travel into the office is essential.

As a trustee you will work in a voluntary capacity and focus on the strategic direction of the charity, rather than operational details. Trustees work as a team to offer skills and leadership based on their own life and work experience.
