Perfect for foodies are the evening Supper Clubs and Curry Clubs. These are a wonderful alternative to going out for dinner – you’ll eat delicious food, learn new skills and cook along with our expert tutors to make a gorgeous meal before sitting down to savour it. Whether you book with friends or come by yourself, you’ll enjoy a relaxing, social atmosphere as you unwind, chat and eat great food.

For a taste-packed half or full-day experience, check out the huge range of classes and workshops including Oodles of Noodles, Kick Start Korean, Dim Sum, Vegan Street Food, Plant Powered Protein, or Taco Time, to name but a few!

For those who want to gain in-depth knowledge of vegetarian and vegan cookery, the five-day Vegetarian Society Certificate in Vegetarian & Vegan Cookery course is perfect and is unlike anything else offered in the UK.

Sam Linford- Platt, Head of COOK!, commented: “It’s been great having people in our brand new kitchens cooking amazing dishes. People have loved our recent ‘Lions Mane Mushroom’ workshop and devoured the ‘Build a Bahn Mi’ class. It’s a really relaxed place to cook and experiment with food, whilst gaining confidence in the kitchen.

“Our venue is a focal point for plant-based and vegetarian cooking and we have something for everyone, from our short social supper clubs through to full training weeks and community classes.”

The building offers COOK! a stylish and accessible venue and is set to become a hub for community cooking, public workshops and professional training, making plant-based and vegetarian cooking more exciting and inclusive than ever before.

COOK! are the food experts from the campaigning charity the Vegetarian Society.  The Vegetarian Society and COOK! moved into and installed their stunning new school in what was originally an electricity sub-station in Jersey Street, Ancoats.

Workshops start from £35, and you can check out all the cookery experiences on offer at COOK! with the Vegetarian Society at www.vegsoc.org/cook.
