Baked Apples with Raisins

Egg-Free, Gluten-Free, Healthy, Nut-Free, Wheat-Free

Apples contain pectin which is a soluble fibre that helps lower cholesterol.
Ingredients
- 2 medium cooking apples washed and cored
- Pinch of cinnamon
- 30g raisins
- 2 tsp honey
- 10g unsalted butter
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 180°C/gas mark 4.
- In a small bowl, combine the raisins with honey and cinnamon then stuff each apple with the mixture.
- Top each apple with a little butter.
- Stand apples on a lined baking sheet and bake for about 45 minutes until softened.
- Serve in bowls.
