Seven out of ten Britons check the menu before deciding where to eat out. For vegetarians and vegans, this step is essential. We need to be sure the venue offers an appealing dish for us, because despite improvements in vegetarian and vegan cooking, it can still be difficult to find a truly great place to eat.
Veg-Out aims to make your life easier by showcasing good vegetarian and vegan food within mixed menu and specialist venues.

The team from COOK! are at the heart of this project. They check the recipes. They check the venues have robust operating procedures in place to manage contamination. Only when they’re satisfied do we put a venue on this site. If a site doesn’t quite hit the mark, or just wants to up their game, the COOK! team can deliver training to support them.
